the most successful to date due largely in part to the efforts of Julie Lane and Jeff Weir.

4th Annual Goldstein Golf Tournament, Brookstone Meadows
Thanks Paul Goldstein, Mike Gillespie (head coach SWU Baseball) and the players for making this the most successful golf tournament to date, even with the threatening weather conditions. Team Pixie & Bill’s won with the Munson-Derrick team as runners-up. (See Photo Gallery).
A great BBQ dinner provided by U.S.Foodservice was enjoyed by all along with homemade pecan and key lime pies. Thanks again Joey Weir for all your catering help. You’re getting good at this!!
Paul’s energy and enthusiasm in organizing this tournament is truly appreciated in our efforts to bring as many children as possible to a better place in life through the wonders of therapeutic riding.
3rd Annual Will Run for Hugs 5k
November 8, 2009
Like the other events of 2009, this year’s run exceeded all previous ones to date! The weather was beautiful on the Sunday after the Tigers beat Florida State 40-24. The winner, a very excited Cully Holland, was presented with a Clemson football signed by Head Coach, Dabo Swinney.
This is a very fun and family oriented 5k that begins at Pixie & Bill’s and goes through downtown and Clemson campus, finishing at the Catherine Smith Park on College Avenue where fresh fruit, water, muffins and bagels awaited the runners.
A BIG thanks to all of our new participants for supporting our cause and to the repeat runners for their continued support in our efforts to enrich children’s lives right here in the upstate.
LOOKING FORWARD TO 2010 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Want to pitch in?
